Brooklyn's Best Dance Studio opened in 2009 with one goal in mind, to introduce the world of dance to the next generation of students. But that's not all, we also provided many students with a second home. Our dance school is a family and we strive for greatness together. Our dedicated and experienced instructors take you step by step through the physical and mental training of becoming a dancer. All you have to do is believe in yourself and we will open your to the true world of Ballroom and Latin dancing.
Meet the team
Roman Lerner : Co-Owner / Instructor
Roman Lerner has over 25 years of experience in International Latin and Ballroom and is one of the finest competitive dancers and teachers in the nation. Started as a junior in the early 90's and soon after turned amateur. He has competed all over the world and trained with some of the best world champions such Bryan Watson, Carmen, Hans Galke, Espen Salberg, Dimitry Timokhin and Colin James. After an intense and a very successful amateur career led him to concentrate on his other passion in life, teaching.
For past 15 years Roman has dedicated himself to making new champions. Becoming an owner of BBDS, Brooklyn's Best Dance Studio, he has raised and trained some of the best junior, youth and amateur champion couples we all see and love today!!! Roman is very well recognized in the world of Latin dance!! Specialize in teaching competitive kids and adults, preparation for dance shows and popular Pro/Am dance competitions.

Eugene Lerner : Co-Owner / Instructor
Journey of Eugene Lerner began in the 90's With a successful junior competitive background. Finalist in many junior national competitions and Finalist in Adult Amateur Novice Championships. In 2009 when Brooklyn's Best Dance Studio was formed Eugene began using his passion for the art of dance to train the next generation of champions!
